The sad thing about the “just move to a blue state” think is that due to our bicameral legislative structure and the electoral college, that actually puts more people in danger. Texas could go blue in another 10-20 years if Dems hold the Latino vote.
The Latino vote is hard. Lots of Christians and (believe it or not) anti-immigration sentiment. Most are voting against their own interests and for people who least represent their religious beliefs.
