minus-square@jonne@infosec.publinkfedilink2•3 months agoI have a Canon PIXMA (got it for free) and it’s fucking garbage, but if you only need to print like 5 things a year it’s hard to justify getting a new one. Despite all that we probably already spent $100s in ink.

minus-square@jonne@infosec.publinkfedilink2•3 months agoI know, it’s such a scam. I think those ink cartridges have a timer in addition to just checking the ink level. I think one of these days the thing will enrage me so much I’ll just instant buy a Brother.
