Parents already have the tools to block this at the network layer, including in mobile OSes. There’s no need to add age verification at all to anything. The parents control their kids devices, so don’t give them a device they can access this stuff on.

These tools have existed for literal decades at this point. Anyone trying to add something now is just trying to make it easier for the government to spy on you.

OP is just advertising that website, they’ve posted numerous other “infographics” from the same site. This one makes no sense, and they posted the article to drive traffic to the site but the article answers nothing.

Yep exactly this. Even though the grocery store is extremely close to my house, it’s the only one, it’s still not a reasonable walking distance for trips 3-4 times per week, and the food is exactly like you said, mostly treated.

I’ve been to several places in Europe and the grocery situation there is so much better, it’s honestly astounding.

I would be very surprised by that. Like the other poster said, it’s almost certainly Citizen’s United. Without it there wouldn’t be any of the erosion of regulation that we’ve seen blast through the US in less than two decades.

If any of this is accurate or sustainable in the real world then it’s putting the rest of the market to shame.

We used to joke like this because it was such a dead giveaway that someone was racist. We started saying things like “I’m not racist but the weather is fantastic today!” Or “I’m not sexist, but do you think it’s gonna rain?”
