Sorry, I’m watching TNG at the moment. It’s so refreshing.
I played it for the first time five years ago after tons of content had been added, and really liked it. A year ago I played it for a second time, and I loved it.
The atmosphere and mechanics are just so immersive!
Now I want to play it again, I guess I will sink 100 hours into it once more.
It still amazes me how, with enough passion by the developers, a product can go from utterly shit to brilliantly executed.

If there is the slightest online DRM this release is worthless. Sadly the article isn’t very clear on this.
But if it really has not DRM and the patches are freely available to download there is no reason to not release it on gog for example.
DRM free is my only reason to pay, but I don’t want to go back to physical media.
The YouTube app for Android. It’s become my hobby to observe how it gradually becomes worse and worse. But not with dark patterns but just plain bad handling.
If I want to use YouTube seriously I’m using Firefox and ublock, but I reached a point where I’m looking forward to every app update to enjoy the “improvements” they made for a “better user experience”.

The German intro (as well as the whole series) of Captain Future has a completely different soundtrack. And it is widely regarded as the better one (the 70s/80s style gives the show a whole new feeling).
Sadly the German version is heavily censored, so we will never get the best of both worlds.

That’s why I love gog, and it’s the only store that gets my gaming money. The games are mine, as long as I keep a backup of the installer. I can do with them what I want.
I see why the newest AAA games are a must have for younger gamers, but as an older one I now have the patience to simply wait until it releases on gog if I actually have the urge to play it.

I adore Tron. It’s sometimes surprisingly spot on in its predictions of future tech, and other times so completely bonkers like Hackers.
But visually it’s absolutely stunning, every time I watch it I’m amazed what great work the Special Effects people have done in a time when people went to the Arcade to play Pac-Man.

Client side scanning will come with the next iteration of the law which isn’t just here yet. And hopefully will never come.
