Why isn’t she called by her name then like every other candidate (and most other people)?

The problem with AOC though is her name sounds like an acronym, which makes her sound like an institution (like a super PAC). It’s a dumb thing to complain about but affects people’s first impressions if they aren’t obsessively researching candidates.
All this feels pretty old for me
Is this a real tweet? Is there a link?

No, but they’re more likely to answer honestly (that they get a job for wage).

knexcar@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•hypothetical: after Google sells Chrome, new owner f***s up, users flee to other browsers. Can Firefox step up and attract+keep a significant qty of users?English4·2 months agoI don’t know but Internet Explorer somehow managed to mess it up badly enough to be widely considered inferior by the vast majority of the population, despite being pre installed on Windows. So I suspect Chrome could fall in the same boat if it’s bad enough. Though I guess there are still open source forks.
To be fair, he does have a point. It’s not nice to bully someone about their choice of car, IMO even big pickups with many externalities, but especially if the only reason is the owner being a douche (electric cars have less externalities than gas ones). I don’t know when or why he bought a Tesla but it really feels like petty outrage that undermines legitimate complaints about the current political climate.

It means its thinking and not just regurgitating facts. Because someday, such a phrase could exist in the future and AI wouldn’t need to wait for it to become mainstream.
What’s wrong with Google? AI answers are pretty convenient.
