think of mastodon, lemmy and other fediverse software as one network in a umbrella named Activitypub where bluesky is fall under different umbrella and these two umbrella can’t be used together you either choose one or the other. there were some efforts for bridging these two networks but I don’t know if it’s currently possible or not.
