My local water hole is owned by an Irishman, seeing him pouring perfect Guinnesses at the same time that he pours a pint of lager with the other hand and stopping the Guinness just in time and still managing to get an absolute amazing pour on both beers is an joy to watch. Just finished a LAN party. I’m the chairman of the nonprofit that arranges it. Everything went smooth. So smooth I had bad anxiety the day before we started lol. The aula we rented is cleaned, and the extra chairs and tables we rented have been picked up.

Before the pandemic we used to have close to a 1000 guests. But unfortunately big LAN partys are dying, so this year we were only around 70.

I think we’ll keep a smaller size, but aiming for a bit more than 100 next year. Because at this size, it’s still really fun without all the extra stress and workload that comes from arranging a really big party

I’d get that type of diaper bag, if I had kids. I like the look. Most of my bags and backpacks are black MOLLE-covered military looking shit. You can like a functional aesthetic without being insecure about your masculinity. Some people just thinks it looks good, you know?
