This sounds interesting. Going to check it out.

Crichton’s The Andromeda Strain and Sphere were one of his first books I ever read, and while it has been couple of decades since I read them, I loved reading both of them.
Now that you have mentioned them, I want to go back and read them again.

Welcome to the club.

Oh, sorry to hear that.

Yeah, already got the books. Will probably take a break after the first trilogy though.

I just ordered the book yesterday, after seeing it recommended in last week’s thread 😀

Thanks for the recommendations, will check them out!

Nice, and good luck! That’s a pretty neat goal.

Getting Things Done, a productivity system by David Allen. It’s basically about keeping your “inbox” empty. If you aren’t going to do it right now, move it to “Later” folder, if something needs to be delegated, delegate it and so on. It has been quite a while since I read about it so details are a bit sketchy.

That’s nice. Don’t care much about Shatner’s personal life, but love Star Trek. Will check it out.

How is Be Useful?

Yeah, didn’t realise it has finished. I think I read first 3-4 books on Kindle. Will get the physical copies when I am done with DCC.

I don’t really track webnovels that I read, just went through the novel’s list on the wuxiaworld.com (the site where I read mostly, they officially license their novels so their translations are generally better from other sites) and mentioning the ones I remember as the ones I enjoyed the most. Will share others when/if I recall them.
Chinese (Mostly cultivation):
Korean (Mostly litRPG):
Haven’t read many English webnovels, at least not that stood out. Dropped Wandering Inn. Worm was pretty good but I changed phone, and took a break and then couldn’t find where I was. These days hoping for a e-book before restarting that.
Let me know if you have any recommendations.

That’s good then! Have fun!

coming back when a new book is out in a series and having that feeling of what the fuck was going on again for a while.
lol, that’s a very common feeling for me. I don’t have a great memory and used to re-read whole series when new book will come out. Don’t have that much time now. So try to read whole series or where books are coming out every year or so, that keeps the memory fresh enough.

Yes, it’s Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden!

Yeah, I am not afraid that there isn’t enough to read, I am afraid it won’t end any time soon 😀
Robert Jordan burned me real bad, and Jim Butcher didn’t help much, so I try not to start series that aren’t finished. There are always exceptions though.

Heh, was it a good or bad surprise when you found out that volume one is already over?

I mentioned it above in another comment, but I actually liked those item descriptions, and found them to be funny. It is possible I’ll eventually get tired of them though, but enjoying them for now.
How are you liking the Eisenhorn trilogy? I got the omnibus and going to start it soon (once I am done with Sword of Destiny and the final The Black Magician’s book)
