I hear this sentiment every season, and it’s always just the last couple seasons people say are dull, or different, or odd. 5 and 10 years ago it was still just the last couple, and now online discourse indicates that people have come to enjoy those seasons.

No expert, but I think the 50A is just the max based on the rating of that receptacle. If a dryer only pulls 20A, then a 30A extension cord should be enough, right?
