Being white must be all he has left. I would love to see Sanchez bringing him in front of the Alhambra: either his brain explodes scanners-style or he will claim to be 110% Nasrid.

Understood. I am happy they adopted this as it is a good feature, for example when asking for a contact at a conference and not wanting the person looking at your screen to see any messages from personal messaging etc.

I am on Mint. For now. Anyway I am quiet quitting Steam for GOG and Heroic had no problem running Unity games with fractional scaling.

Yeaaa…nope.
We definitely need a better UI with highest prio for this.

As I am now on GrapheneOS, tell me if I have it understood: this is talking about apps getting notifications when the phone is unlocked, right?
In GOS even this option is already there, but to have the notifications hidden on the lock screen I believe has been there since forever, or is it a false memory of mine?

I work from home at least one day a week.

Correct me if I am wrong, if I switch away from a fullscreen application, I won’t have it available to be terminated using xkill, right?

I had a problem with Unity games on Steam freezing the PC due to fractional scaling. In that case not even the terminal would show up. Also, if I switch away from a fullscreen application, I won’t have it available to be terminated using xkill, right?

I miss a task manager-like shortcut to come out to the desktop and easily kill processes freezing the PC.

I have been requested to work from home tomorrow since our IT manager “has to” wipe my laptop and install Windows 11. I am happy to work from my Linux Gaming PC at least for one day before having to face this abyss of idiocy.

Depends on your definition of “working”. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the idea of one of those two originally. It surely works for them.
Thanks for your point of view!

I have been impressed as well. I am only trying to understand a move I instinctually do not agree with.

Doesn’t cost Canada financially, that’s true. Yet it costs the international community’s institutions in power, since an alternative is being acknowledged, and probably even Canada in reputation, in the long run.

I literally look for live performances on YouTube and then look for similar recommendations or, if the artist did it, their list of recommended channels on their own channel.
I work listening to ambient, which is a terrible minefield for AI, but having discovered Martin Stûrtzer led me to discover a bunch of new no AI instrumental and electronic (mostly modular analog synth) music artists.

Okay doc. You didn’t even read any of my replies probably. Let’s close it here.
Thanks for teaching me a new word, although I will probably use it to describe interacting with people like you.

I use Tuta and it is ok for me, although I can understand @thesdev@feddit.org’s points. For me, mail is a unwelcome necessity, but not something I use really for anything sensitive and my move to Tuta last year was more about finding an ethical alternative to Google.

I came at it as a Borderlands virgin, but it struck me really as poorly written compared to the other titles, almost as much as their Monkey Island and Sam and Max titles (both franchises I love otherwise).

Would I get to the good part within that Episode?
Mint since May. Preferring to work from home these days not to have to deal with Winslop 11 on my work laptop.
