  • I have a question, if i don’t watch the person how do i read the room to understand if they wanna talk? I kinda have problems with such stuff

    (I just wanna say that i never have been in a sauna, i doubt i would talk but i guess that of we are in the same room.with such heat for more than 10 minutes, talking would help enduring)

  • My line of thought was more “older people are usually more deattached from reality than younger people due to old age’s deterioration and generally they stick with old ideals” rather than “they are about to die so they will not care about what happens next”
    On two feets i’d say that 80 is the perfect cut off, though it would take further research to determine a better age cut off, this also should answer the question about cancer terminal patients (and if it’s not too obvious: they can still vote)

  • Of course stopping to eat fast food won’t solve obesity since there are other steps you also HAVE to take, but if you don’t stop eating fast food then it’s on you if you have problems with losing weight;
    The problem with fast food is that it’s very caloric compared to how much it makes you feel full so you will eat more food which does not help with losing weight, remember that fast food is not the only problem though

    I am sure that english got “beef steak” from there then
    Because “bif” is pronounced the same as “beef” and “teck” is kinda similiar to “steak”, Beef in french seems to be Bœuf which checks out with my theory

    (Note: it’s been a long time since i last talked in French ans i wouldn’t be able to anymore lol)

    They do have an R if i remember correctly, it’s just that’s very similiar to an L to most learners due to their mother language, that’s also why Italians have it a little bit easier since we do use the same sound to make some words (we still have problems hearing it correctly because they way japanese uses it is very different and our brain gets tricked in to hearing an L instead of an R but we can make the sound with little to no practice compared to French or British people)
