I live in the mountains and they aren’t even snowcapped this year. Still feels like September and I can easily go outside in a t-shirt most days. Even when it does snow, which has only happened three times so far this season, it melts by the late afternoon.
You can’t be specific. If you say “tax the rich” they will say yes. But as soon as you start listing off billionaires they will back down. They want to tax the rich, they just still think there are good billionaires.
When lurking on conservative parts of the internet I’ve seen that the vast majority of them are against attacking Greenland and think this whole thing is stupid. If the military goes along with this I hope they realize that pretty much every American across the political spectrum is not on their side with this one. They will not come out of this as war heroes.
I absolutely loved the time I spent playing Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3. I’ve also only played them for 12 hours or so.
That’s not as uncommon as you’d think. If you look at Steam achievements only 59% of players have made it past Act 1 on Baldur’s Gate 3. You know, the most popular RPG released in the past decade.

I’m an American and I’m kinda tired of hearing my countrymen apologize and say they are embarrassed. Were over a year into this and waaaay past the time to say that kinda shit. We shouldn’t be embarrassed, we should feel ashamed and angry. And we shouldn’t apologize, we should be actively finding ways to make a change no matter how small.
I know there are plenty of other Americans that probably lurk on communities like this so I’m mostly saying this to them. And the only reason I’m saying this is because about half the time I see other Americans apologize and say how embarassed they are it often seems like it’s a way to say “see? I’m one of the good ones.” None of us are the “good ones” anymore unless you are actively putting in the work. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t vote for him because he’s still the president. People have died, continue to die, and will die in the future because of this man and he’s doing all of it in our name. If Trump actually causes a global conflict with his bullshit we will not be blameless when the dust settles and our country will have to pay for this regardless of who you voted for.
Sure thing keyboard warrior. I bet you feel like such a touch guy as you do jack shit about it. At least these people are protesting while you sit behind a screen and explain why other people need to make sacrifices for you like you are the main character.
I’m so tired of this bullshit response. It’s like watching sports and saying what you’d do in that situation when you have no idea what you are talking about. What the fuck are they supposed to do? Anything they do besides protest will put their lives immediately in danger and they could potentially die. Believe it or not, most people don’t want to die. That’s kinda the whole point of these protests. None of us want to die or get kidnapped.
I get it, we are all angry and this is all bullshit. But I’m so tired of people saying “yeah but I’d fight back and you should too” while most never even go to protests. Stop shaming people for not doing what you want to see them do with the buffer of your phone screen. You are basically saying “yeah but why didn’t you die for them?” While you sit on the fucking toilet.

I mean, you took the first sentence out and ignored the rest of what I said. My point was that yes that is a reason, but it’s not the only reason. My point was they don’t wanna sell to consumers because Elon Musk is just gonna pre-order their entire stock for the next two years.
Part of me thinks that they wouldn’t be stupid enough to have the Grok available to the public as the same one they will be using at the Pentagon. Like, the same servers that the consumers get to use and all that. Another part of me thinks they are stupid enough to do that and it’ll only take a few weeks until people start getting Grok to share battle plans on twitter.
Well, yeah. I already have one. My company gave me a $500 Amazon giftcard for Christmas even though I never use Amazon so I spent it on something I didn’t really want that much. Besides that, even my neice amd nephew weren’t excited about it and were like “it only has like two games.”
I have a trans younger sister and one of my brothers is dating a trans woman. My dad is pretty MAGA and I have to hear about my sister “deciding they were trans” after going to therapy at every family get together. Yes, they are definitely way too obsessed.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the idea of having a car and having the option to go anywhere I want whenever I want. At the same time I wish it wasn’t my only option. I live in a semi rural area and I literally can’t get anything I need as a person without driving. And even if I decided to walk I have to walk alongside a fucking highway with no sidewalk just to get there.
It’s weird but that’s, like, the only thing I’m good at remembering. I’ve pretty much remembered the name of everyone that has told me but if you ask me why I haven’t taken out the trash yet it will be “sorry, I forgot” for about half the day and still might forget to do it.

The entire US government is corrupt at this point. Both sides back down as soon as their money is threatened and republicans cower in fear every time they second guess their glorious leader. But to answer your question, the Supreme Court of the United States decided Trump can do whatever he wants and they will only fight him when they need to pretend they are impartial. They gave Trump the power over tariffs about a month before his “liberation day.”
At the end of the day it really comes down to the fact that nobody in the entire government of the US has the balls to tell the big baby in charge “no.” And even when they do they only do it to win political points so they look good for the next election.
