  • You did the thing. You equivocated Kamala with what is happening now:

Kamala was fully, 100% behind the genocide and wouldn’t have done shit, just like Biden.

This is patently false. Biden did an awful job reigning Bibi, that’s true. But to just sit here and pretend that today’s outcome would be the same if Kamala was president is just asinine and out of touch. But there is no way to convince you, because none of this conversation is grounded in reality.

Yea, you’re right. I’m not doing a great job debunking these stupid talking points. I’ve heard this dialog tree a million times on Lemmy. That’s all it is. A dialog tree of same stupid “genocide Kamala” “you’re a zionist” etc.

If you’re not going to put in the work to understand i/p and treat everything as a simple soundbyte I can just match your energy. It’s no different really

  • And there it is. The fact that you equivocate between Kamala and Trump tells us everything. You are not informed or grounded in any sort of reality about this conversation.

No, I didn’t say you used an llm. I’m saying your talking points are indistinguishable from one. It’s just slop sound bytes, nothing more.

The fact that you can’t at least acknowledge that Israel was also being attacked, especially after Oct 7…is also just indicative of how terminally online people talk about this conflict. You guys are not on the side of Palestinians. This is Kony 2012 all over again.

And of course, pull out all the standard buzzword ad homs: zionist, genocide enabler etc.

You are saying so much and nothing at the same time.

  • Because it doesn’t help the conversation at all if all we are limited to is slop twitter soundbites. A real discussion would entail anything about actionable solutions or realistic paths to de-escalation. And that includes bringing Israel to the table. That’s what Palestinians need. Not white kids sitting around on college campuses chanting “free Palestine”. Hate her for all you want, but Kamala was the vehicle for de-escalation. Not Trump.

Not running the mill on a collection of LLM slop soundbites “from the river to the sea” / " apartheid colonial ethnostate" over and over and over is just…meaningless. If you guys aren’t capable of addressing these with real concrete actionable items, it’s just effervescent self masturbatory ejaculate

  • No, it takes twice as much energy to refute lies and stupidity. The iron dome bill is exclusively for defense weapons intended to intercept icbms etc, but that wouldnt matter to you because you probably would say something insane like “Israel doesn’t have a right to exist” or something to that extent. So we’re not having a conversation based in reality. You screeching “Israel doesn’t have a right to exist” isn’t going to make several million Jews pack up their bags and exit the Levant. So we’re back to living in the world of Twitter memes and slop sound bytes.

Now, I’m not saying I can predict how you’re going to move the goalposts. But I can infer where you stand

  • It’s fine to muse about stuff like this online. In theory, the senate serves to shield the government from tidal shifts that happen too fast. Obviously, they are not doing their job now. But to put this as a main core tenet of your platforms is bat shit insane. The average American that is struggling to put food on the table doesn’t have the mental load to evaluate these things and just looks at it and goes “what the fuck are you all on??!” and votes red. Goddam Subaru socialists out of touch with reality

  • I can tell when people are Subaru socialists when they say stupid insane shit like “abolish the police is good policy”. That is so insane and out of touch with reality I don’t even know where to begin. It’s fine to muse about the police state and Marxist leninist theory online, but this is how we get stupid shit like a Vance term
