If they aren’t an anime nerd, would they be using an anime piracy site?
Poorly explained, and the red arrows don’t help. When you click the link that says “bank robbers”, you get taken to the homepage instead, showing you the FBI’s leadership. I think it’s hmmm-worthy.

Less than 10% of anime viewers have an opinion on ever-encroaching ads, limited selection and AI subs? Are you sure about that? We’re anime nerds. We have a LOT of opinions.

I remember you from the last time you did this. You didn’t post any details then, either. You just hoped that being vague enough would hide how you absolutely deserved it.

Don’t engage with this guy. I checked the modlog for him, and it’s just a sea of shit like this.

He probably has, back in the days when Crunchyroll was worth its price. It’s 2026, though. There are many reasons we stopped using it.

And this is how I found out.

I don’t understand your logic there. Being the “‘change my mind’ meme guy” is a legacy. Using the meme template is keeping the legacy alive. Even if it was just the response to the meme keeping his legacy alive, then surely you wouldn’t use the meme template anyway, so they have nothing to respond to?
This is assuming you DON’T want him to be easily searched by people wanting to know more about the meme, thus exposing them to his hateful rhetoric, of which the original meme is a blatant example.

N

Why grant him a legacy at all? Especially since the original of that meme is a tool of his bigotry.

All you had to say was “Jordan Lund”. He’s well known in this community. He’s done this before.

Unfortunately, the first lesson I learned from GMing is that the story I planned is shit. The only reason these stories are worth telling is because the players make decisions you don’t expect and the dice send things in crazy directions. If there is no chance of failure, success is meaningless.
Instead, I let the dice tell whatever story they like, and I turn that into a better story than I could come up with. And if a roll would genuinely make things terrible if they didn’t roll a specific way, I don’t roll at all.
I tried fudging once. The players could tell, and the story lost all tension. Now I roll in the open, and every roll is exciting.

They were not antagonistic until AFTER your dismissive, antagonistic comment. The most antagonistic part of that initial comment is a direct response to you saying the same thing. Heck, you responded to his “sorry” with “not sorry”, just to be a jerk. You were the first one to be uncivil.
You’re right, I am not a mod, and have no idea how mod tools work. But based on how the comments of mine that were removed were visible in the mod logs, I had assumed you did something to hide them. I was wrong. My mistake.
There were three comments you had removed at the time I made my first ruling. 2 and 3 deserved removal. 1 did not. 2 and 3 were included in your screenshot. 1 had been left out. You definitely cherry-picked that thread.
When I said “just now”, I was referring to something that happened within the hour I was writing, and which happened after the last time I spoken on the subject. Please don’t get stuck on a detail that minute. It’s not worth it.
You’re fully allowed to respond, and to offer your own defence. My issue is where you say “YDI.” You’re the potential PTB. You’re innately biased in favour of yourself. The rest of your comment is fine, but that rings an alarm bell of bad faith to me.

Those comments are weirdly hostile, and do deserve removal and a temp ban.
However, based on your own comments being hostile and overly invested, I would have removed YOURS as well. Add in you removing the perfectly civil top comment (which, despite you restoring just now, you haven’t included in the screen shot), the obfuscating of the mod logs in the initial removal, and you coming here to give a ruling on your own behaviour (you cannot be impartial on that), I cannot say you’re in the right here.
BPR.

Without seeing the comments, it’s hard to know how justified this is, and it is only a 2 day ban. But looking at the other comments in the post, considering how your comments were PURGED ENTIRELY for incivility, and considering Stamet’s troubled history as a mod, I’m willing to err on the side of PTB.
Edit: With seeing the comments, I’m gonna say BPR. See below.

I would recommend you don’t go to Waterstones, Currys, Boots or Weird Fish.
Instead, I recommend going to Staples. You’ll have a much better time there.

And so, two girls have discovered the wonders of yuri. Life can be good sometimes.

On the other hand, is it really worth pirating Microslop products at this point?
I think I first read this joke in a henway.
