    Um.

A bunch of Reddit assholes showing up in response to that idea, somehow nullifies my point???!

edit: Point proven again. You make a comment disconnected to my statement; I point out you’re having a convo with the music in your head… downvotes.

Reddit is happening here and now and you’re all watching it and denying it.

Here’s the thing. A platform is it’s users. 2 years ago Lemmy rocked. Now the Redditors are arriving and it’s turning into a literal Reddit clone. Open the front page 2 years ago and it was all kinds of exciting and novel stuff. Now it’s Trump bad, nazi bad, fascism bad, racism bad, homophobia bad, musk moron, celebrity dead.

edit: Proof received via downvotes. Oldhead Lemmy users know I’m right. Welcome, jackasses, I guess.

That’s where I feel our perspectives diverge. I think there is a sickness that is rooted within the heart of the human experience and it is a fear-based compulsion based on power/control. Some (the rich) have means to express this sickness in larger domains, but it is a characteristic that seems to be independent of wealth. I think there are people with this illness, and those without, and those somewhere on a curve.

  • Don’t listen to them, skin care is actually a scam.

Just get some sunflower oil and put it on your dry skin. That’s all you need.

Edit also, use the littlest amount of soap and shampoo that is humanly possible, myself I use almost none.

Edit… I don’t take the down votes personally, most people are locked into the idea that we need to continually slather ourselves in bullshit. Don’t forget that 2 million years of human evolution existed before soap and shampoo and skin care stuff. Basically stop hassling yourself and you’ll get more results.
