I wonder if those places do a better job of being less drafty because it’s easier to know there’s a draft when it’s really cold.
It would help keep hot air inside if so which might explain why it’s so hot
Yeah also thanks because I thought they meant like the raw inside of the egg. Like the yolk and white all over the bottom of your foot and the pedals making it very slippery.
In this case the raw egg is still inside the shell. They makes a lot more sense that what my brain conjured up.
Though all that being said it does things me of the anime Initial D
The main character makes deliveries for his dad and his dad puts a cup of water in the cup holder and says not to spill any. That’s how he teaches his son to drive without breaking the tofu he is delivering.
That being if he doesn’t spill any water he is driving smoothly and with care.
Which is actually a reoccurring challenge on the Canada’s Worst Driver show. Season one is actually a great watch for winter driving skills
When my mechanic had decided to sell his shop, he got rid of his heating bill for the last few months he had to work and he used a vest from snap on (branded snap on anyway) that had rechargeable warmers in it. Was kind of neat. He said it worked surprisingly well as long as he remembered to keep it charged
Unessesarily and for no reason mean the same thing in that sentence, you can omit either one and it makes more sense. Less is more in this instance. But perhaps you know this already and it was intentional. If so apologies

4·1 天前Heyo not sure where you are from, but if you find these things worth looking into, you may also be interested in Canada’s residential school atrocities. There was some unearthed history recently(ish) brought up about our governments history, similar to some of those historical events
I don’t have any kicks to share but I remember there being some decent actual old school journalism responding.
I think we should gift Florida to Cuba in return for a un backed and approved constitution rework/rewrite
It’s great fodder for future creative works.
Much like most post apocalyptic works, it let us theory craft how things could be different
I was curious if there was anything inside it for at least a decade. I have no idea why I’ve never looked it up. I even subscribe to Wikipedia.
Thank you

1·3 天前Yeah…
Well remember them in 25 years and file FOIA requests after they hope everyone forgot. Optimistic that will even be an option in the future I know but instead of just protesting if we just keep spamming them with requests, relentlessly who knows what we might achieve.
Since about occupy Wall Street I think we can see that any protest for a cause that is already well understood and acknowledged by the public at large(meaning the activism still needs to raise awareness that a problem exists at all) now requires some form of other actual action to gain any traction
Too many people are too complacent, unwilling, or simply unable to do more than just express their opinion.
It’s just like with abuse victims, the best results happen when they are not only able to take action against their abusers, by but face them too. Which is often if not usually a cruel injustice to have a system that only seems to get good results when it requires further trauma to those who need justice.
Whether that trauma is physical, psychological or simply even economic trauma
We COULD simply stock up on say rice and beans, then quit participating in the system that is constantly fucking over those it should be seeking to protect, we the people. But as long as we won’t and can’t simply stop long enough and have a place to sleep, clothes on our backs and food in our stomachs we will lose to those that syphon all of our labour, the sliver of time we have on this planet, we will continue to suffer greater and greater losses…
First they came for criminals, then they came for…

An UNcomfortable amount of your fellow Canadians actual support that guy

23·3 天前You have completely lost the plot here.
They may have thought they were voting for something other than this shit show but it was extremely obvious that nothing good could come from voting for Trump if you aren’t one of his friends.
This IS what people voted for, because they voted for this sack of shit and the project 2025 was written out well ahead of the elections.
They were lied to about many things, but they still voted for a lying liar and fucking should have known better.
This is everyone’s fault who voted for this orange shit sack

Probably we could pick worse than Dolly.

21·3 天前as if grabbing a gun and executing your neighbors is the easiest thing in the world.
I just wanted to say this is not the way and is wrong.
It’s not people’s neighbours that need to be going after.
It about 600 people.
That’s it.
Then you do it again if the next group doesn’t make things right immediately.
You can give them a choice. Ask them to resign or face the guillotine.
That 600 people are the 3 branches of government and the Supreme Court.
435 members of Congress. 100 Senators. POTUS and his appointees.
Again it’s not people’s neighbours that need to be removed post haste.
And yes there are good people in that 600. That’s why you ask them to resign first. They can run again after the people have decided the smoke has cleared.
I know this isn’t going to happen nor is it as simple as 600 individuals. But those 600ish people are the problem. There are other and more problems but you fix those 600 and you can correct course
I would but no one is offering enough money for me to do that job

2·3 天前I already trust you more than most religious leadership or politicians. My confidence isn’t high on this yet but I think you would already provide a better result than either of them.
You have to remain being right about everything though or we will have to begin consideration to replace you.
And I’m hoping you don’t fuck it up, it would be rather refreshing to have a leadership strategy that actually just keeps getting things right all the time
