a few years back i got spoiled for my birthday with a wireless mouse + charging mousepad combo. its a logitech g pro with matching pad, so the whole kit n kaboodle was $200-$300. the plastic is too smooth so i had to add foam grip tape to the sides. it has served well for the better part of a decade. all my other logitech peripherals were pieces of shit (keyboard, headset), but the mouse + pad has been good.

my SIL had been a jerk and a bully to her siblings (my partner) her whole life, well into her 20s when she should have grown out of it. she had kids and became a pretty good mom. she’s not nearly as mean to her kids as she was to her siblings. and the kids are a hoot.
