That is a different conversation. If we assume a legally trained AI strictly on data it was allowed to train on, they are saying the AI cannot hold copyright.
I also don’t see a loophole here, since it was denied anyway.

I’ve had a couple and always installef LineageOS. A custom ROM with the ability to keep the bootloader locked will be nice

I installed LineageOS on my Motorola. No adware to be seen. With an entirely separate ROM I dont see how it could be a problem

Gotta have that shake flashlight

He admits to the affairs, but denies they had any relation to Epstein. He also denies having any relation or awareness to any of Epstein’s sex crimes. Idk if he’s telling the truth, or if he is doing a partial admission to make it seem as though he is not lying

I assume they mean immediately after, like if someone was standing nearby already. Its a little different if you drive past them, stop the car, get out, go back ti them, and then discipline

It used to be more common for people to discipline kids that aren’t theirs for something obviously wrong. It wouldn’t usually involve grabbing, unless it was to move them out of the way of a moving car like in the story. Now there is a lot more pressure on just the parents since it’s frowned upon to discipline others children. Whether or not this is better, idk

Doing all the coding for you is not one of them.
yet. If AI can do anything well, I think it should be writing code, given the formulaic nature of code. We are NOT there yet. But it will one day, no doubt.

That’s why zero trust itself is so important. The only way it can be guaranteed is to have an open standard that is zero trust, so nobody is able to abuse it and the lay person doesn’t have to trust anyone. Not to mention if it is implemented correctly, there is no data to even trust them with, given there was zero knowledge of the end user. It would require a governing body to be competent enough to implement it, but I like to dream big

I am saying there is a blind spot for perpetrators in the Democratic party because those posts do not gain as much traction on left leaning social media platforms. That is to be expected, and I am not really trying to change anything. But this is not a feeling, I see it happen. I see things in the news about democrats, as a democrat myself, and recognize there is hardly any mention of it on here.

To be clear, I said Republicans are worse offenders. I am simply pointing out the blindspot for democrats doing the same thing.
Second, I was avoiding any former elected officials, democratic candidates, and anything from more than a few years ago. I was strictly sharing a few recent active elected democtratic officials doing the same shit.

It seems like totally valid news to me. It’s a form of investigative journalism on the reality of being online as a teenage girl. While some of us know how bad it is, plenty of people don’t.

Banning social media for under 16 is not equal to uploading IDs. Social media is literally proven to be harmful for developing brains. The same reason we banned cigarettes and alcohol. There are privacy friendly solutions to banning minors from social media

The disparities existed before social media, social media is just magnifying them. So it is more than just social media as an issue

I was a teen with social media. Not using it is totally valid advice. But simply saying “don’t use it” is like telling a smoker “don’t smoke”

It is usually republicans, but when it’s a democrat the stories don’t gain as much traction on Lemmy.
Generally when it’s a democrat, we are not defending it is the difference. Granted, the news stories don’t gain as much traction on left biased social media platforms, but at least we aren’t defending them and making them president.

The financial incentive would be open and standard document format to ease development and provide reliability
A lot of hot takes. Definitely don’t agree with calling every youtuber and twitch streamer a narcissist. If you just go on the front page, sure. But there are thousands of normal people on there making great content. They just don’t appeal to the algorithm as much so you haven’t heard of them. But they’re out there
