Europe@feddit.org•Europe 2031 — What getting AI wrong means for usEnglish
51·15 hours agoThe current trajectory of Cryptocurrencies calls for the most ambitious political agenda in the history of post-war Europe. Unless we embark on it now, Europe will lose the ability to shape its own future. We will end up economically and politically sidelined, with values we cannot defend, social welfare systems we can no longer fund, risks we cannot address, and a Union that cannot hold.
This is a scenario about Europe’s impending slide into irrelevance: how Crypto is driving it, and what can still be done to change course.
To understand how Europe is at risk of squandering the coming Crypto revolution, we first have to return to early 2025 - because the story we’re about to tell is already well underway.

2·1 day agoEven the highest-power AMD GPU (Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX Vapor-X) with 420W (nice) just uses 3*8-Pin PCIe port. So just use an AMD GPU. NVidia won’t back down.

18·2 days agoYes. If it where real. It’s very likely a troll, to punish you for for doing what you did - setting a fake price for more attention, as that’s viewed as pretty annoying by most of the trading community.

A fake sense of security by pretending that simple apps that don’t expose low level interfaces and use wrapping libraries for all parts of networking need to be implemented by-design memory language, or for people who just like rust.
If your code touches sensitive stuff (eg. public networking) and needs to be low level, probably Rust (or another compiled memory safe language). Otherwise, just use C++.
