    Twitter threatens to sue Meta after rival app Threads gains traction

    Twitter is threatening Meta with a lawsuit after the blockbuster launch of Meta’s new Twitter rival, Threads — in perhaps the clearest sign yet that Twitter views the app as a competitive threat.

    On Wednesday, an attorney representing Twitter sent Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg a letter that accused the company of trade secret theft through the hiring of former Twitter employees.

    You’re probably back there and maybe not here. I really cannot gauge and I should not anyway. What I realized these past few days though? I won’t stop caring, but I’ll still have to keep this close to my chest. Bahala na ulit, as always. I’ll be here though, I’ll be around literally and figuratively, whatever happens from now on, as my many thanks well not only to you but for the rest of the folks that keeps me going, too. But yeah, be well, my friend.

      Slightly mahal ng konti than your budget at 1.4k (with 200 off voucher code applied) but I use this one. 7 years na sa akin and still going. Madaming attachments, easy to clean, and lasts several months on a single charge.

    I keep thinking about it, my best guess is I got stung by a jellyfish kaso di ko kasi nakita and not knowing is even more annoying 😒 basta walang kakamot is the rule lol

    I can really only deduce based on what I got. Either way, I still like jellyfishes. Next time mag full suit na lang ako.

    Madami akong natututunan for my beach trip. One could call it a vacation, but I thought it was pretty productive too.

    Next time baka try ko matulog sa hammock just so I can save on accomodation💲jk. I think I’ll seriously try it pero solo trip hahaha. Tapos kapag di ko kinaya pasok na lang ako and try to upgrade to an actual bed.

    I wanna try things.

    UPDATE 2:

    Opening the “members” file for Nueva Vizcaya gave me 496,546 rows, the same number as the household population. The “households” file for the province has 142,343 rows, one for each household.

    This means in 2.3 GB worth of compressed files I’ve just got 108,667,043 household members + 26,374,653 households = 135,041,696 rows for the entire Philippines what the fuck

      I’ve installed it earlier and pang-mobile lang siya. Yung website nila when visited on the PC, hanggang QR code lang para ma-download ang app sa phone.

    Someone made a thread the other day suggesting that r/PH switch to NSFW. This article explains what we already know and why it’s a bad idea:

    Contrary to popular belief, we’re not scared of being stripped our moderator duties… BUT it is a bad thing for the sub if they appoint AI mods or just any applicant that may or may not be from a troll farm.

      Nakakatakot if the Reddit admin appoint these kinds of people as mods such as:

      • the notorious anti-vaxxer mod sa phclassifieds
      • Sakundes
      • DDS/Marcos apologist a la Truther
      • Redditor who has a eugenics fetish
      • MRA/MGTOW na nagkakalat sa isang satirical sub (na obviously not satirical ang mga posts niya)

    So, uh yesterday was reported by Yahoo! Australia to be the world’s hottest day of all time.

    Friederike Otto, a German climate scientist based in Britain, was quoted (in the above news article) to say that this is a “death sentence for people and ecosystems”, and that we should expect more records to be broken in the coming months/years, in a negative way.

    Well, shit. Better save up for the a/c and fans people. Hotter days lie ahead.
