Anyone who knows enough veterans knows not to listen to this sob story. They will literally sit there, out in the open, and discuss how to game disability and increase their rating. Keep in mind, veterans disability is nothing like SSDI. They can continue to work regardless of rating, though many just don’t want to, which is why they are trying to increase that rating for more money.

A veteran is still part of the working class (for the most part, I’m sure there are exceptions) so to me, if any of the working class can manage to live without working, be it through SNAP or disability or unemployment or Veterans Benefits, more power to them!

I’d rather less money be spent period on the military and spent instead on every person. I’d probably have more sympathy if a majority of these vets didn’t support the right and make those same exact boomer statements you mention about everybody else while actively stealing from taxpayers themselves. They’re mostly class traitors fyi.
Two vets at my last job were always talking about this. Know why? Because they couldn’t get jack shit. And yes, they could continue to work, had to in fact. One was too physically disabled too work, the other too mentally disabled, yet they had to work minimum wage jobs at Lowe’s.
