Y’all. I am in absolute shock over the comments on a recent post made on a local public facebook page from a small, VERY MAGA town in Middle TN. I didn’t screenshot all of them, because there are HUNDREDS, but they are ALL NEGATIVE TOWARDS TRUMP!!! If you know the town I live in and the people that live here, you’d know that this is a HUGE deal! I’ve been so disheartened since the election because my town has been very loudly in support of Trump, and every post made on this facebook page before has had an overwhelmingly positive reaction for him, but this time, people are pissed!

Veteran’s Day. Now excluding veterans from the Korean war, Vietnam, and Afghanistan. And probably also anyone who died because Trump prefers winners, not losers.
It’s the same playbook used against minorities. They complain about a real problem, the response is an event or holiday or other platitude, but never actually addressing the problem.
That’s what terrified the right about the Floyd protests when they started getting violent. It wasn’t the violence, they don’t give a shit about that. It was that actual policy changes were gaining ground, and that shit they absolutely could not have. Which is why as soon as protests became civil, every policy change was stopped, and they went back to holidays and other platitude bullshit.
This feels like a good time to drop this megapost about Trump’s incidents where the military is concerned. The man very clearly holds them beneath contempt.
Fantastic. Will these MAGA go farther than posting this on Facebook or whatever the source is? Doubtful. They probably still think he reads their social media posts.
