Lovely poem. I’d wager however that love is best shown through kindness, not merely by providing. A warm home and taking care of basic necessities will not offset the damage done by the anger you unleash on children.

I instantly recognized this poem even though I haven’t read it since I first saw it 15 years ago. Really powerful one to me.
