It’s all very reminiscent of earlier this year, when Biden, at the exact same time he was painting Trump as a dictator-to-be and making this the central message of his presidential campaign, lobbied feverishly to expand the government’s warrantless spying powers that it’s now passing on to Trump. It was one of the most glaring instances laying bare how cynically and irresponsibly Democratic politicians used rhetoric around authoritarianism and threats to democracy, and how little they themselves actually believed what they were saying.
if only democrats could see how fucked up democrats are; they would stop voting for the “lesser evil”.
They really don’t like people pointing out they already did most the things they accuse trump of going to do.
This is based on the false assumption that the Biden/Cheney DNC has non-dead Arab child goals. They’re killing it (and them) on that front and are honestly happy to be out of power so the hippies stop yelling at them about their genocides. Biden is living his best life pardoning turkeys and wandering into the rain forest while babies starve and surgeons are raped to death by the IDF.
