Anyway, I think that changing lyrics that someone else wrote to fit an idea is pretty lame and is a stain on the original writer. Just sing the damn song dude.
I do prefer Reznor’s version still, personally, but I’m a huge fan of NIN. Regardless, Cash’s changes were perfectly fine and definitely make it more radio friendly too.

It depends on my mood, but most of the time I prefer Reznor’s as well.
