Last time, I used: “Anybody need anything while I’m out?” and that went over well. May not make it through this surgery on Friday, so I turn to Lemmy for top-notch suggestions for my potential last words!

Normally, that probably would be the case. I’ve gone in to get tumors removed that I’m not even 100% sure what they’re doing until after the fact. In this case, I’ve actually met everyone before, and my main surgeon told me his same chosen staff would be in for it! Not that I know each of them as buddies, but at least by face and bedside manner - in fact, I’ve already been in for this specific surgery, but had complications due to my genetic condition, and it’s being reapproached with even more cool people I got to meet! My failing health has been like a full time job for a few years now - if Friday goes well, I can finally start the arduous uphill back to normal. It wouldn’t have gotten to this point without a convolution of factors, but in this case, where it matters, I feel extremely lucky with my team.
