minus-squareremon@ani.socialMlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·24 days agoThat checks out for Europe. Are these your original pictures?
minus-squarerollerbang@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·24 days agoYes, I only publish my own photos. So spiders that I observe myself, in nature.
minus-squareremon@ani.socialMlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·24 days agoLove it, keep it up! But I will eventually figure out your location just by spider ranges :D
minus-squarerollerbang@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·24 days agoAre you a spider yourself? Because they give me the heebie-jebies. Note: they’re not only from around where I live. So I kind of like this “game”. I wonder how accurate you can get.

But knowing that you took all the pictures yourself does narrow it down. The Argiope bruennichi pretty much confirmed it’s Europe.

minus-squareremon@ani.socialMlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·24 days agoI practised my microscopy skills on of them. Catching them is easy, just put a container under their web and startle them. They will just drop straight down. Cut the line, and you got her.
