Mostly hiking and outdoors kind of stuff. There’s a bike trail and you can rent bikes. My parents like the Wandering Dog Inn.
Middle Island isn’t readily accessible. If you’re comfortable navigating a boat and the weather is good, you could make your way there but there’s not really a lot to see other than cormorants and cormorant poop.
Edit: You do need to have a boating license to operate a motorized watercraft but you could paddle over there in a canoe if you were well prepared.
