Anyone know where to find the Android (and PMOS eventually) settings for eSIM? Running Lineage OS without gapps for now, in a MAJOR metropolitan area with plenty of cell coverage from both T-Mobile & ATT. Basic cell data seems to work without doing anything special, but calls on cheogram are spotty at best - pretty much unusable. general web browsing seems to work OK and I even see 5G in my phone’s status bar, but calling on Signal app fails as well. I even started seeing"Network failure" errors. Everything works perfectly if I switch back to my SIM card from a T-Mobile MNVO.
seems like this eSIM requires some config to work well with my local towers, but I can’t find any documentation online. What am I missing?
If u mean the app for transferring between eSIM & physical SIM, yes - and I’ve ordered the corresponding SIM kit, but it hasn’t arrived yet. I reached out to the support number/jabber address but haven’t heard back. in fairness, I only started testing in ernest late Friday, and I know their support has more of a M-F schedule.
In the meantime I was reaching out to the broader community hoping to learn where the documentation is posted. I would love to learn (for example) which APN to select, if R for roaming is a normal status bar visual (regardless of whether roaming is enabled), and should I enable roaming? I can’t find any documentation pages anywhere online, and their FAQ doesn’t address these fairly basic questions.
