The stock market is not the most interesting part of this video IMO.
It is absolutely their guest Nina Khruscheva who describes some of the thinking of Putin, and how he in the face of two options will probably choose escalation, declaring war on Ukraine and mobilize.
The reason I find this interesting is not only because I agree very much with her analysis. But because I think that when Putin does that, it will be the beginning to the end for Russia. Throwing more soldiers at the problem will not help Russia, but it will create a further imbalance of the Russian economy, and more soldiers with less equipment will likely do worse than how the current situation is for Russia.
Declaring war and mobilizing further will be the last desperate move for Russia.

IDK if they are worth much compassion, after all they are voluntary soldiers as crazy as that sounds.
If they are drafted however it’s different.
