Shrimps are relatives of cockroaches and literal ocean bugs. After I realised this, I’ve cut down my consumption almost entirely.
It is good and healthy food. Fishing practices are a problem, but as a food source it is not bad.
I don’t disagree it is nutritionally alright. But to me it’s just icky. Like broccoli is to some people.
