Unfortunately leaving the union is not an option I seem to recall something about a group trying to do that at one point and they were prevented from doing so.
Let’s just cut our losses and all agree the USA experiment is a failure. Just split it up.
The problem is, the split is largely rural vs. urban, which is scattered all over the country.
