tauren@lemm.eeto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Kid gave a reasonable answer without all the math bullshitEnglish217·1 month agoIt’s a basic assumption in these word problems. For instance, when they ask you to compare 2/4 and 2/8, you know that you can transform 2/4 to 4/8 and see that it’s greater than 2/8 (0.5 > 0.25). It’s a basic school program, there are no tricks here. It’s a pure math exercise.

It’s when I installed Windows N (the version without all that bullshit), but each time I launched a game, it complained that some Xbox app was missing. When I finally said, ‘Fuck it, let’s install that crap,’ I learned that it isn’t even possible to install on that Windows edition. Yet they would still show me the error about the missing app nonetheless. Every. Single. Time.

That’s a base assumption when you compare fractions in these word problems.

What if that was from users from Austria, Switzerland, north of Italy, or Argentine?
Why don’t you quit bitching and go solve some of the world’s problems then?

I can’t recommend the exact model because I have a cheap Trust myself, but your wrist would appreciate a vertical mouse. The selection is limited though, especially with gaming products.
