I agree. Our rights are not a place for compromise.
Surban mom.

I didn’t know that, but am excited to add that to my cat facts list. 😊

Probably the immediate threat, but the long tail of consequences will go on for a while. Who would want to work with us when we have twice elected a guy like Trump? We are pretty unreliable partners at this point. 😕

Cats love a good box.
Yes! On other people. I am too clumsy to keep nail art in good condition longer than 15 minutes.

Thanks! It was pretty funny - even at the time. Although, yeah, pretty dehumanizing.

So helpful. Gemini once summarized a VM from my kid (who is autistic and doesn’t speak super well) as a “long, rambling and incoherent message” with no attempt to decipher what was said. We will not be replaced by AI anytime soon.

My initial thought was that you could have a medical issue you are unaware of - since eating can make you nauseous and you have allergies/intolerances. Might be worth exploring with your doc/a nutritionist or at bare minimum tracking what you eat and what gives you the least amount of problems.
My next thought is to start slow. You can gradually increase calories so your stomach doesn’t get overwhelmed. Find high cal foods that agree with you and sneak them into dishes you already like, such as adding hemp seeds to oatmeal (I might be the only person who likes that combo, but you get the idea).

I too am just learning about it.
I absolutely would get in n that van.
I run my own business. They have to listen to me now. 😉
Boo - that sux. I’m here to comiserate with if you ever need.
Oooo! A close cousin is the not believing or agreeing with something (like at work), then months later having it as their own novel idea.
“Fucking bitch”

Elizabeth from Elizabeth (movie). 😉
I think of him more like the next John McAfee.

Unknown, but the did see the same story circle around IG yesterday. The article says it is unverified.

Being disabled is difficult, and I don’t want to downplay that. But just to give you a bit of hope: I’m happily married to an autistic guy and have two autistic kiddos (one is pretty severe). Keep an eye out for your people - they are probably looking for you too.
This move is probably one that makes me the most hopeful. Most leaders mask the shitshow they’ve inherited out of some sort of misguided effort to be polite or not drag their preticessor through the mud. Clearly articulating the mess opens the door for Mamdani to make more dramatic changes and probably more quickly (having established some urgency). I was on the fence about his actual ability to execute - but I’m excited I could be wrong.
