10·8 days agoWas there two months ago, got chikungunya. I still have surges of it, after about 40 days. Many friends there reported they and their families contracted it as well. The main treatment is paracetamol, but apparently even that is hard to get by.

4·16 days agoPractically all the free software licenses require some form of attribution. CC licenses are not really suited for code. I would say the GPL is way more applicable here.

Cool! Looking forward to the next post. I’d love to learn about how the kernel and initramfs work together though. For now the magic seems to be in how qemu strings things together.

4·2 months agoBelgium is building a precedent for what is looking like an explicit proxy war between Russia and Europe.
This seems to be mostly about Russian money that’s being held at Euroclear by or in Belgium. Europe wants to loan it to Ukraine, and Russia doesn’t want us to clear it.
