World News@lemmygrad.ml•A survey reveals that 58% of the Brazilian population fears that the US will carry out an intervention in Brazil similar to the one carried out against the Bolivarian nation.
7·3 days agoI really hope Brazilian comrades mobilize and actually work something through. Otherwise, they will face demise to the level that we are seeing in Argentina.

18·3 days agoWell, Zionists have been bragging about it:

My personal translation of the tweet:
- Owen Jones: the Mossad is arming cells to commit ISIS style attacks across Iran, but I still support the mass protest thing that’s no longer happening
rainpizza@lemmygrad.mlOPtoAmérica Latina@lemmygrad.ml•After Israeli tourists burned the Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina's Patagonia, thousands in Argentina and Chile took to the streets and demanded the expulsion of Israelis from Latin America.
3·3 days agoThe situation is very bad in Argentina. Let me give you this interview that contextualize what is happening and the privilege zionists have in Argentina:
-
Under Javier Milei, Argentina has given state benefits to Israeli expats, while Patagonia has become a haven for ex-IDF soldiers fearing Gaza war crimes charges
-
As Patagonia burns, journalist Sebastian Salgado recalls how Israelis have set fires in the region

US News@lemmygrad.ml•A new Black Panther Party for Self-Defense chapter has surfaced in Philadelphia, echoing the spirit of the 1960s movement. Armed, trained, and determined to protect protesters.
18·3 days agoI think that this will be the recurrent trend from this day forward.
My hypothesis that may explain this trend is that the privilege that liberals had is quickly evaporating and that forces them to confront the reality that they so much dismissed: the reality that the oppressed have lived and tried so hard to explain to them with no result.
When liberal’s view of reality finally matches with the oppressed, decades of propaganda will be destroyed in the minds of people and that will allow empathy, solidarity and finally organizations to grow. This will be the same for Europe.

21·3 days agoMeanwhile, we also have this disgusting amount of brazilians that supported the US invasion to Venezuela:
The survey also shows that 46% of Brazilians approve and 39% disapprove of the military action that bombed parts of Caracas and captured President Nicolás Maduro on January 3rd.
The question: “Would you say you approve or disapprove of the US military action in Venezuela?”
Approval: 46%.
Disapprove: 39%.
Don’t know/No answer: 15%.

4·4 days agoI will stay on the lookout for that document. Maybe, I can find it later on and I will ping you here if I do find it.
Meanwhile, maybe, the other organization that is listed in 990 Form(Abdorrahman Boroumand Center for Human Rights in Iran) and the reference in the HRANA website can help you in the meantime as a resource.

3·4 days agoGood catch. As for the website(https://www.hra-iran.org/introduction/), isn’t that HRANA? If it is, then in their website there is a reference to the NED. The connection is there but the 990 form is not available(I speculate that it was intentionally hidden).

You are completely right about this. I also investigated about the SDF and shared some of my findings here -> https://lemmygrad.ml/post/6488415
Adding to what you also mentioned, there were plenty of evidence that the US never even cared about the Kurds:
