I do like the meta joke that the only person who would care enough to make hours of content shitting on the TNG movies and Star Wars prequels would be the world’s creepiest old man. And at the end of the day, moddb and gamebanana are still around and have plenty of content, including many of the same mods that are on the Nexus’ most popular games (e.g. Bethesda games). Losing it would be extremely rough, but modding doesn’t have an existential need for Nexus and I don’t think they’re capable of changing that.
