@satsunami it’s my understanding that boku is used more in anime and music than real life, and that it’s mainly used by children.

Also, if you’re introducing yourself, I believe there are more natural sounding ways to do it. Just say your name and then desu. Pronouns aren’t used as much in Japanese as in English.

@Unboxious I haven’t seen any of those yet. One of my problems with SD Gundam World was the product placement. Like I know Bandai wants to sell toys and there’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but I don’t want the show to feel like it’s full of ads.

I’m curious about G Gundam since it looks more comedic than the other ones.

@Endmaker I’ve seen others, I just wanted to rewatch the first one.

so far I have seen the original, zeta, chars countterattack, the first hathaway movie, the first thunderbolt movie, witch from mercury, gqux, some of origin/wing/00, and a little bit of zz, but I didn’t like that one. and I’ve also watched some of the SD series like brave battle warriors and gundam world.

So I’ve seen a lot but there’s still so much more…

@Endmaker video won’t load in my region but it’s okay, I haven’t seen any SEED yet anyway.

I always hear people say it’s horrible but it seems to be very popular in Japan/Asia.

I’m rewatching the original Gundam now but I’m almost done. I don’t know which to watch next…

@NightFantom maybe not difficult in the traditional sense, but some can be very tedious. I remember people making spreadsheets for Harvest Moon games!

@wjs018 so this really is post-reset Serial Experiments Lalah! so are the gqux characters “real” or just part of a dream? I don’t want them to be wiped out at the end, or trapped in a loop… If their world is going to be destroyed, maybe they can be sent somewhere else with a zeknova? Part of me wonders if the gundam at the end is from a world Lalah made for Amuro. Maybe she made one for him and one for Char to keep them separate. I don’t know where they’re going with this… we’ll have to wait and see.

@wjs018 this was a cool episode, I am pleasantly surprised that Amuro doesn’t seem to be relevant here. I thought they might try to shove him in but I don’t think there’s time for that. I am glad the show is still mostly focused on the new characters.

More thoughts:

- what would happen if the two Lalahs meet? would that cause some kind of zeknova or are they just like psychic twins?
- who or what is Shuji, Shirouzu and their connection to the Red Gundam and Char?
- will Garma win by doing nothing? he and Kycilia are the last Zabis left and Kycilia is probably going to get bazooka’d again…
- Nyaan will probably be mad at whoever kills Kycilia…
- the flashback scene with Challia Bull was cool. someone/something has been interfering with this world for a while now…
- if Machu and/or Nyaan kill each other or otherwise die and then it cuts to the ending of them singing and dancing I will laugh really hard… I’d like to think there will be a happy ending but who knows…

@wjs018 Lalah is so cute in this show. And the Elmeth looks good too.

If there’s two Lalahs, does that mean there’s two Chars- one in the Gundam and one, the guy from last week’s episode?

And where (when?) is Shuji?

Obviously I am excited for Lalah next week! And I want to see Machu again as well!

@Unboxious I’ve read the manga and watched most of the anime (not the last 2 parts.) I know they were roommates and all but it didn’t seem like they ever let their guard down around the other. But then again people will ship characters just for standing next to each other so I guess I shouldn’t try to find logic in it.

@MelodiousFunk I don’t understand charma, I think Garma’s death was one of the only things that made Char truly happy lol.

The rose “awakened” somehow so I am not sure what triggered that… maybe it’s something in the Gqux? Since it seemed to wake up and help Machu. I don’t know if we ahould assume it’s a person though it might be.

@Unboxious there was something in the next episode preview about a plan “for just the two of us” and Nyaan and Shuji were hugging, so it seemed like a good-bye hug. That was my impression, we’ll have to wait and see.
