Soo for anyone who is interested… I added a wick to the bottle and it works great! The plant is thriving and it is easy to refill the bottle every couple of days (in the beginning it was weeks but it is getting hungry). It went from slowly dIng to really growing into a full salad. Very happy to share this… it is just exiting what plants can grow in!

Most comments already said the most important things. For my dog, it took months to get her assured that we will return. We had a lot of success with doing a routine when we are leaving. We put her on the bed, say goodbye and then we put a snack or two next to her, which she isn’t allowed to get, while we are in the room. As soon as I am out of the room, she is allowed, so me leaving is somewhat of a cool thing to happen. Also don’t be too dramatic when you leave the dog and also when you come back. Treat it as a normal thing… it will take time but most dogs learn it after a while. Just be patient. Good luck

We will know in a week or so… Flavor wise I am pretty convinced… texture will be interesting because of the high watercontent
I used some cayenne chili peppers I had laying around. I think I could have gone for more fruite ones to support the watermelon flavor a little more…
I had a kombucha for a while, but I never really got the timing right and it was always quite sour. The bug seemed to work easier, but it is pretty similar to deal with.
