this poor hungry boy, he is wasting away 😭
very cool & i really like how you conveyed the iridescence of feathers
enjoy the class! it’s very pleasant to draw outside in nature, i need to get back into it myself

!artshare@lemmy.world my beloved
i think !sillydrawingrequests@sopuli.xyz and !connectasong@lemmy.world are pretty great too

hi OP, if ur interested in using a non-genAI logo for the community, i took the liberty of throwing a simple one together. it’s ok if u dont want to use it too, of course, i just had fun making it and thought i would offer it up.

this is really cool to see, if i can use this with my solo pserver i will be very happy! thanks for posting it!

Blood Tea and Red String (2006) - cool & weird dialogue-free stop motion animation, i liked it a lot even if some of the symbolism maybe went over my head.
28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple (2026) - i enjoyed this more than Years Part 1, pleasantly surprised by how much fun it ended up being.
so a quiet week on the movie front for me, but a good one 😌

Door Lock (2018) - didn’t know going in that this was a sort of rework of a (better) movie that i had already seen. it was watchable for my late nite trash purposes but i probably would not recommend it.
Within the Pines (2024) - cool premise & nicely shot & great sound design but not enough happening for the length.
The Hitch-Hiker (1953) - finally getting around to this one and it was quite a banger, the only one from this week that i actually do recommend.
Redux Redux (2025) - started out very strong but lost me once the pace slowed down & people started talking more. but i’m always happy to give some lo-fi scifi a go.

this is what i know it as too, it was in a recent-ish video by izzzyzzz about internet art styles as well (even referencing that image)
it certainly has its flaws but i have a soft spot for it, i think you will know quite quickly if it’s your cup of tea or not!
i really like the atmospheric effect around the planet in the watercolour, it’s lovely!

on the upside there is no gas leak in my apartment so that’s nice, still got a month of cold showers ahead while they go thru the rest of the building but i am getting used to it already and my hair seems to be liking it.
still going with the C52, started week 6 (5-point perspective stuff) yesterday and i am now struggling a lot, but i suppose thats why it’s called a challenge and not a super easy time. just got to remember brain is learning and its ok that a new thing is hard.

yeah thats fair, i would like to see that too!

i moved to .zip a couple days ago in part for the reason of wanting to spread userbase out a little more, im sure im not the only one willing to bump on over for the health of the network :)

off the top of my head: The Terror (S1), Interview with the Vampire, Extraordinary, Black Sails, Righteous Gemstones, Kingdom (the korean one not the lars von trier one), The Last Kingdom (unrelated to previous yet both involve swords 🤔), Orphan Black, Taskmaster
like many here i am still enjoying Fallout as well. and looking forward to Paradise coming back this month too. i think i also want to try getting onto Spartacus (yes more swords) because i heard good things about House of Ashur

nothing terribly new for me but i continue to be an Odonis Odonis - Spectrums enjoyer
seconding this, i use a solo azerothcore build and it’s been great. mine is scaled rather than using playerbots but i experimented with a bot one and it was pretty neat to be able to group up with them.
