7·1 天前I’m surprised they weren’t doing this already tbh
don’t expect me
I have no expectations for you at all. You’ve still let me down, though.
This sure was a meeting of the minds, thanks for your conversation. I especially like your knack for comprehension.
Nah, I don’t think any of that, I just like chicken.
What’s your deal, man
I live comfortably in a secret thrid place that isn’t north America or Europe, it’s actually wonderful. My neighbour is Muslim and makes really good chicken, life is good.
Brother you are full on schizoposting, I beg you, step away from the keyboard.
You’re laughed off, specifically, because you specifically are embarrassing to talk to.
Stop listening to the voices

24·1 天前Oh my god you guys literally can’t fathom having a government that actually represents you, it’s depressing
In a whole month you could trade up to a nuke with that kind of initiative

2·2 天前That is a fantastic idea - one to bring to your local representative if they don’t resent your existence. Frame it in terms of helping the elderly store their photos etc, you’ve got a winner

World News@lemmy.world•France launches attempted murder investigation after petrol bomb thrown at policeEnglish
3·2 天前I don’t think spamming a Lemmy thread is really helping anything, French cops probably don’t have accounts here lol.
You’re preaching to the choir but the preaching is of poor quality and ultimately pointless, screaming into the void instead of conversing with a small online community that probably agrees with you anyway.

3·3 天前Auditable access control and security, private connectivity to vendors and partners, advanced fire prevention, a formalised process for access for vendor support, delivery docks for full rack unit appliances, separate circuits for power, space for cable runs, 24/7 concierge.
Rolling your own datacentre is ludicrously expensive when you can just rent half a rack of space, this would kill small businesses and major corps would just take the hit and pass it on to consumers.

Linux@lemmy.ml•WTF Ubuntu? RCE vuln in Linux TCP stack is *still* not patched
3·3 天前It’s ridiculous, every time they abuse the cvss system like this people become less likely to actually address vulnerabilities.
I don’t think anyone will ever exploit this in the wild

Australian Politics@aussie.zone•More unions down tools in Labor’s Victorian election campaign as ‘trust broken’
2·3 天前Not surprised. Jacinta was the member for bendigo, did nothing as bendigo bank decimated their workforce. Meanwhile Ben Carroll used the teachers union as a political bargaining chip. Imagine how much they wasted on lawyers and other staff trying to get an EBA done, while this guy was stonewalling them so he could get a promotion.

Australian Politics@aussie.zone•Doctors fear Catholic takeover of NSW hospitals will usher in ‘religious doctrine’ [FULL TEXT IN POST]
4·3 天前It’s weird as fuck in Australia specifically, like the school Catholics groups, vocational Catholics and Healthcare Catholic groups always seem at odds on political lines.
And then Christians in NSW generally seem to fetishise American style Christianity for some reason. Certain Catholics groups have more in common with Hillsong sometimes, you can tell by the amount of well-intentioned donations they piss away on marketing, branding and fancy music studios

Encrypted SNI becoming increasingly common as TLS 1.3 adoption grows. As others mentioned in this thread, a lot of the IPs belong to CDNs.
