Getting music on it is as easy as the players I had in the past, just plug it into a computer and copy over files in the file explorer. The sound quality ranges from decent to incredible as the market has more focus on audiophiles these days. The real problem is that a lot of them are way too big and have poor battery life because of the integrated amps.

Why innovate when you can litigate?

I haven’t gone back to physical media, but I bought a MP3 player last month and it’s so nice to listen to music on a dedicated device (with a headphone jack!).

Is that site legit? It used to be https://thedise.me/instander but it’s been down for a while and thedise was only sharing very sporadic updates via telegram.

There was a British show I watched once upon a time that visited old castles in the UK and recreated the menus from dinner parties of the 1500s. Aspic was apparently super popular for showing off your wealth and almost every menu had it.

That seems pretty reasonable to me if they’re high quality.

I’ve though about one of these but the videos I’ve seen make it look very annoying to use.

I use droidify and there was a permission it asked me for to be able to install apps in the background. It still sometimes gives me the pop-up but usually just installs the updates after clicking update (I don’t like automatic updates).

For internet radio on android I use Demodulate from f-droid. The interface is a bit weird (to add to favorites you have to search for a station and then go to the favorites tap) but it works well.
