Isn’t duckduckgo a search engine? I don’t trust my browser being the same ad my search engine.

I don’t know how to pronounce Mx, even if I did it would take a lot for me to call someone by Mx. Language can’t be forced.

How is this not just removing history like taking down the colonising genocidal white nationalist statues are?

The AI cost of water isn’t really a big deal in comparison to the consumption of water through crops and other means worldwide.
I heard the cost of water for AI worldwide is 1/80 the water consumption of corn in America alone.
What is a big deal is the money invested towards it is holding up our economy, (when it could be spent on making society better) creating fake news and impersonating humans at a rapid rate.

5·19 days agoBuy secondhand, especially if you still want iphones. Money goes to lower class (something like Facebook marketplace has no tax), no money to “less bad” competing companies, and you’ll get a much cheaper product which still has the “appleness” you want.
Not available for IOS. For android firefox is bad at sandboxing and security. Vanadium if it had adblocking would be perfect for me.
I trust Brave, because privacy guides trusts brave. It has a great in built adblocker and apparently the default privacy settings of any browser. I believe crypto, AI, all that other stuff is opt in, it’s opensource as well. Considering chromium is the best at sandboxing and security for mobile, what other options do people have?

Nothing should fall on the morals of the lower class consumer. While personally buying secondhand, keeping stuff you own until they break and fixing them, as well as reducing overall consumption is personally what I do, I shouldn’t need to do that. The company should change there slave laws.
Neither, LibreWolf on pc. On Android Brave has inbuilt adnlocking and the bad stuff they do is all opt in.
China (and other Asian nations) but particularly China, which is a powerful and rich country allows this unfortunately. Hopefully an issue the government is trying to fix, but one of my main critiques.
I’m not sure what you mean, I don’t think an immigrant making minimum wage is exploitative on the immigrant side, if that is what you mean. I believe the exploitation is of immigrants/lower class from big companies by paying them America’s absurdly low minimum wage.
The service is alright I guess, if the person doing the work for you gets a living wage. But I’m not sure I understand you.

I love how the title firsts fake shocks then realises it’s making a post “shocked, shocked!”
AI has been the cause of 50’000 layoffs to middle-lower class employees. Mamy of whom now have no jobs, some homeless, but overall less money going to the working class. Now, has this made companies more moral? More efficient? Has AI created any jobs? I doubt it.
All this has done is increased the profit margins, and enshittified these companies, now writing code, managing employees, and doing other jobs humans should be doing.
