You should try to read one! Skim it, I mean.

I haven’t read this opinion specifically (and some of this probably won’t apply), but generally:

They explain all of the relevant procedural stuff in detail, and even justifying how things are being handled, with citations. Then the basics about what happened, the arguments on each side. Discuss the relevant laws and relevant edge cases. They will talk about new submissions to the court, and basically tell the story of what happened legally (there was a hearing on x date, defense submitted new evidence on y date etc). Then they sort through all the bullshit as judges, saying what’s accurate/a good argument and what’s not. Then write their actual opinion. 100 pages is pretty standard from the ones I’ve seen.

It’s really funny how all this denial is focused on the existence of a concrete “list.” What everybody means, and what anyone honest knows, is that the request is for the release of a list of the people who went to the Epstein island and were associated with the convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein himself.

If you can convict Maxwell, there is evidence of what happened. Whether or not someone has already written a list is completely irrelevant.

I would absolutely not travel to America while Trump is in power. I’ve wanted to visit again since his first term, but fuck the extra border hassle (+ now the risk of getting sent to gitmo or El Salvador or god knows where for criticizing dear leader) and also fuck supporting an economy he will take credit for.

I feel bad for all the businesses who did nothing wrong. But we live in capitalism and I can’t vote/protest there so 🤷‍♂️
