Please don’t hate on me, I know the name of the community, I’m just trying to explain.

To me it’s the same as saying “You look like shit after you exercise”. Well, yes, but it kind of misses the point of it. I’m doing it for let’s say “a greater good”. Sure, exercising is hard and at times you want to say “fuck it” but in the end you’re more healthy, skinny and you feel better both physically and mentally. Also I don’t value my own comfort that highly - it’s kind of fun to push myself actually. Sure I could eat fast food daily but - I know myself and I’d get bored and would try to find some new challenge.

To me it’s the same with children. If you don’t have these feelings, that’s fine.

  • I live in a country where drive through isn’t that common. But when a huge local e-shop introduced pickup by drive through, I decided to try it out. I tried it twice. First time it was relatively empty so I though “Hah, that’s actually pretty convinient and fast”. Second time it was pretty packed and I thought “Omg this must be the stupidest idea ever. What am I doing here? I’m sitting in an artificial traffic jam which I literally can’t leave while employees handle a fraction of customers at once. And why exactly? So I don’t leave my car?”

  • I think I usually understand the motivation behind the racism. I disagree with it and I oppose it, but at least I think I can explain it to myself that “ok I guess this is happening in their heads, that’s why they act like that”. But this … just always blows my mind. Like what, you can’t use the same sink as a black man? Do you think that black people has a lepper or something? What the hell is your problem man?
