What a great movie. The animation was amazing and the soundtrack is just stuck in my head. I really like how everything flowed together despite cuts to different characters from time to time. That ending was very nicely done. I would watch it again!

Besides that, love to have inner thoughts of Denji and Asa together. Weird how the sky door thing is not a Darkness Devil exclusive. Guess any strong enough devil will do. Also, Yoru did the pose she did when she said she wanted nuclear weapons way back in the early chapters!

I’m think next chapter will be shots of them fightings interspliced with shots of them talking in that inner thoughts space. Could be a nice contrast between what they really feel and want vs what they are forced to do.

Skipping the whole fight and went straight for the kill. Denji was done bro. Although, it seems the bigger foe is going to bring back some bad memories. It does feel nice at least he cared for Yoshida.

Honestly, it did feel nice for a bit think Yoshida was just enjoying time with Denji. I mean, he did apparently enjoyed his time watching over Denji and is legit one of the least problematic people in Denji’s life. Man’s hasn’t gotten no rest since his little joy ride with You but then it was undercut by Falling.

I think “the switch” he was referring to might be to activate a devil power or something else other then Fami and Death. Maybe Yoshida knew Fami and Death were going to attack him so he was setup to activate something upon death.

Like, damn. I genuinely feel bad for him. All it takes is some sexual gratification and he just goes along with it. Here’s what I think he could do:

Just kill both War and Death Devil.

Like, yes, that would be extremely hard both physically and mentally but I think the only way he would get to decide his and to extension, the world’s fate.

Devils have seemed to just take humanity for granted. As if humans are helpless (I mean they kinda are) but I think that a very bleak look at humanity. Nihilistic is the word I am looking for. But… maybe it’s not the end of the world and doom and gloom. Maybe humanity can come back, broken, but not gone. With that hope, a War Devil world is possibly a happy one after wars end but a world without death means humanity basically become like the trees in Aging’s dimension. So the way I see it is

War Devil Victory: Bad at first, then good, then bad again.

Death Victory: Either no prophecy or everyone dies, and if humans all die, basically all devils would go aswell as they live through human fear.

Denji must find his own pass to his own future, even if it doesn’t include Asa, unfornately. That way, maybe the world has a chance and Chainsaw Man can be the hero of hell and the world.

Denji, my man, I get it. Uoooga and panties and all but aren’t there more important matters? Oh Denji, you loveable simpleton.

I guessed it was reinvented. But got to love how Yoru just becomes a full blown American Patriot. Like, America is so good at war it beat out every other country. You’d think you’d love like the British Empire or like Mongols but I guess American has been on top for recent history and those empires are long gone so it fits. Lowkey thought she was gonna go full Homelander when I thought the coat was a cape.

Also, Little D? I saw the comment about the translation but it is way more funny to think she actually said that.

Another thing, War just Doctor Manhattan’ed Falling. It makes me wonder if ,even temporarily, people feel an overwhelming fear of something specfic, it can beat out primordial devils. Like, if everyone was suddenly more concerned about not having a mouth, would the Mouth Devil temporarily be stronger then Death?

WW3 (or WW2 for the humans of this universe?) just causally starting out of nowhere and apparently the U.S still managing to reinvent nuclear weapons is funny.

Though, this either means nuclear weapons was coughed up at some point (I don’t know when, maybe when they were trapped by Aging but then Yoru would have gotten what she wanted) or concepts can be rediscovered, meaning being eaten does not mean the concept can never exist after that. If concepts can be rediscovered, would that make the devils just spawn back in or a whole new devil is created for the concept and the old one either disappears or joins the new one. Very interesting ideas floating here.

I know this is a bit late but we do something small like a small pochita or chibi Manika. If I had to be more unique, there is always ear devil but I think that joke was ran into the ground.

Asa’s turn to save Denji from Falling! It is weird that he noticies Falling’s boobs this time while last time he just straight up try to eat her. Including what’s different is the mental attacks works on him better this time then last time. I wonder what that implies…
