Haha. Well you’ll need my permission first.
Ok you have my permission. Can I come over for a game of pool to see it please ?

It’s…it’s not raining.
Well I had a nice set of coincidences yesterday afternoon. If I had parked in my usual spot none of it would’ve happened. As I was driving away from the ferry terminal I spotted my dear neighbour. She had been on the other ferry that’s supposed to get in before mine ( they go clockwise and anticlockwise. I choose to wait 15 minutes for the direct one. ) So yeah I of course gave her a ride home, she was just about to board the taxi mini bus thing that costs ten dollars and can take half an hour depending on drop offs.
Damn I’m waffling. I decided to drop into the bowls club for a couple, something I used to do with much frequency. I haven’t been there on a Friday in over 18 months, and only a handful of times in general during the same period. Well I got there to see a bloke from the Anglers Arms in Southport where I frequented for six years until about 5 or 6 years ago.
He moved to the Island two months ago and had rarely ventured out, so it was a great coincidence overall.
I then went to my neighbours house whereupon she “forced” me to drink Margaritas. A fair few Margaritas. She also made a spectacular Thai curry.
I had to bail quicksmart at about 7:30 as her boyfriend text to say he was on the ferry coming over…
( Ok that last bit isn’t true, he was expecting me to still be there but I chose to let them spend time together. He might even see this, an ex Redditor from the Bris sub, I actually introduced them a fair while ago which is nice. )
I came home and drank wine and today is not too flash, self inflicted but such is life.

Beautiful.

Well that and coffee dribbling down my chin, must be a good sign.

Ok so I’ve got a mildly funny one for this morning. I decided on a change and went to Maccas for my morning coffee ( ok I got brekky as well ). Sipping the coffee on the way in was difficult and I thought that it was either too frothy or the sippy lid was a shit design. It even dribbled down my chin. I took it off when I got to work and the damn thing had two lids. Lol.

To beanie or not to beanie, that is the question. The temp is on the cusp of beanie necessity. However donning this item would just mess up my beautiful hair. Also I drank too much wine last night, felt good at the time, not so much right now.
Have a lovely Friday and an excellent weekend lovers.

I can’t imagine he loved it.

I agree with all that you have stated.
There’s a Scotsman at work and he’s going back soon. He lives way way up the top. John O Groats.
F that…
Quick Edit. For those that don’t know it’s a damn coooooooold place. In fact it’s in the Arctic.

Aaaah it’s just another suburb in so many ways mate. Both those blokes live and work on the island. It just becomes an ordinary place to live in lots of ways.
The puncher has lived there for over thirty years I believe and is a very well known tradesman. ( Own business ) I imagine his reputation might not be wonderful after all this.

I just got told about a recent fight here on Russell Island. One bloke is in hospital in a coma and the other is in jail. Both were drunk, both well into their 50 s. I know them both and they’re both people that I really would not want to be punched by. ( I mean I don’t fancy being punched by anybody of course. ) I really like the hospitalised one and his wife, I do hope he pulls through.

No beanie today, 15 degrees at 4:15.
Speaking of beanies, after the huge amount of interest regarding my idea for beanies I might go into business supplying them.
Thank god it’s Friday…no wait…

A rather strange thing is that the prices haven’t been fluctuating by 80 cents per litre all over the place while this cut has been in place.
The fuel industry needs some scrutiny and accountability. Possibly about 20 years ago a lady working behind the counter told me that they simply look at the other servos around to determine their prices.
Yeah great way to shaft millions of people. Something something ACCC tiger with no teeth.
Without the fluctuations as well as the excise cut in place, I have still been paying more than I could get fuel for during the low point of the cycle, go figure.

Ha. Mate you should absolutely visit. I fully understand that you have amazing places over there. Well here there are lots of beautiful spots kinda on our doorstep.
It’s a different world my friend. I’m from England and got here 32 years ago. I don’t visit those places anymore, but it’s nice to know that they exist. And I have great memories of such places. I’m lucky that I’ve had Aussies let me tag along with them on some trips.
And it’s just such a fantastic feeling of feeling safe. There are no mountain lions stalking you, or the chance of running into bears for instance. And violent crime is pretty damn low.
My advice generally is to travel while you can, because we don’t really want to live with regrets. ( I mean we live with plenty I reckon, but let’s minimise them if we can. )
And don’t worry about ticks. These last four make a total of five since I got here.
As for all the other scary animals that want to kill you, meh. Yes they exist, but so do many many other crap things in life that we rarely come across.
Feel free to ask me anything if you wish.

Lol. Maybe I’ll go into business then.

Aah yes for I too recall the days of the yellow sky orb. Wheat was aplenty and the lambs did frolic in the meadows.
We had so much milk from the beasts in the fields that we would bathe in it weekly.
Alas the soggy times are upon us and life is simply not the same. Oh how we took it all for granted.

Would you like a beanie with my face on it ?

We have an Asian bloke at work called Kong.

I had a quick look into paralysis ticks.
“No, paralysis from tick bites is generally not permanent. The condition is caused by a neurotoxin in the tick’s saliva that disrupts nerve-to-muscle signals. Once the tick is removed and the toxin leaves the body, normal muscle function typically returns.”
So you should visit soon. You won’t want to leave. Where are you by the way ?

Soooooo it’s all your fault, damn you.
Of course I’m kidding as I have hardly any idea what it is that you may have done. My knowledge of computers is rather limited. I get by with that limited knowledge.
Anyway, whatcha doin’ about this damn rain !?
NGL, I had to look up what DOMS is. Well at least you haven’t been spanking someone. ( Or if you have that’s none of my business ;)
