I would like to add that even if you survive, your lives will still be miserable. Only the rich get richer in fascism, for example, German wages in the 3rd Reich fell down to Great Depression levels (unions were targeted first by Hitler) and people also had to work a lot more hours. After Hitler had pissed off all trade partners there was also a lot of scarcity of basic stuff - towards the end, soldier’s uniforms were literally being made out of cardboard because there was no wool left (Germany didn’t have a lot of sheep and couldn’t grow cotton).
