One of my favorites was from Bender: “Oh, but you can, but you might have to ‘metaphorically’ make a deal with the ‘devil’. And by ‘devil’, I mean Robot Devil, and by ‘metaphorically’, I mean get your coat.”
I’ve been quoting Farnsworth’s “I don’t want to live on this planet anymore” a lot lately.

(I’m not familiar with PlaneLogger). Open source aggregators like OpenSky or ADSB Exchange will have them though, but the UIs of those sites are far less polished and have fewer features.

Thanks to the president, it may never have that role again.31·2 months agoThose costs became salaries and paid engineers and skilled tradespeople, lawyers and financiers, auditors and test pilots, illustrators and modelors, janitors and security guards, truck drivers and inventory specialists, logisticians and mathmericians, scientists and metallurgists, flight doctors and software developers… and on, and on, and on - it may be one of the single biggest job creating programs in the USA in a Generation. That money also got routed into mutual funds and 401k’s and into the communities where all those people live and work. While there are certainly more noble and more effective uses for money, the F35 program has provided a living for a great many people.

I’ve been a motorcyclist for quite a long time, but normally stick to myself and had never heard of this. While I doubt I’ll encounter a situation I’m not prepared to deal with (my day job is essentially planning for and taking charge on very bad days, so I’m pretty good at it), this will better help me spot others that may need assistance.

If it’s an OEM part that I need, I usually use the car manufacturer’s parts catalog to find a part number. Then I enter that part number in a web browser, and browse through whatever comes up to find the lowest price from a trustworthy source (usually a car dealer online somewhere that sells/ships parts and has an online store, but sometimes eBay, Amazon, etc.)
Aftermarket parts get a little more complicated because it depends entirely on what kind of part you’re looking for.

I don’t think there’s any way to argue that a company built upon human suffering isn’t evil - or at least wasn’t at the time.
The Autobahn was built using forced labor of re-education camps, prisoners of war, prison inmates, and Jews from concentration camps. If the Wright Brothers made the first powered flight in an aircraft built of human flesh from murdered victims, nobody sane would be celebrating their achievement.
There is NOTHING honorable about causing harm to others so you can have more for yourself.
