I had to remove the batteries in mine, but the readings are so high that it goes off on its own. There is a Tesla coil of Hitler particles active right now.

This is the truth of liberal “harm reduction”. It’s not global harm reduction, or systemic harm reduction, or even community harm reduction. It’s personal harm reduction for white middle class “me” personally. It’s the logic of “bad things will happen to those people anyway so at least don’t let it happen to me”.

It’s disgusting and I don’t understand how anyone can hold that viewpoint and think they’re they “good guys” but here we are. Lib voters have and will continue to absolutely eat it up. The only reason they don’t like the GOP is because the harm extends to them too

“bad things will happen to those people anyway so at least don’t let it happen to me”.

I’m reminded of Trevor Noah commenting on that reporter who said about Ukrainian refugees that they were relatively civilized, relatively European, and that it’s not usual for them to experience violence, to which Trevor Noah remarked ‘because the <slur that will probably be removed> were built for it?’

(this was the clip I found on just a quick look; it’s been uploaded in black and white)

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IuE324VBBQ

So yes, libs are fine with all manner of violent solutions in the global South, but would never accept it in America or a Western country. I’m reminded of libs on twitter defending aid being directed to Ukraine but not Africa because African countries were dictatorships. Like I’m confused here, are they saying your life has no value if your form of government is disagreeable? I recall more than once reading sentences that start with ‘Maybe you love dictatorship but…’

Also realistically they would make every excuse for why what’s good for the goose isn’t good for the gander; hypocrites who’ll deflect from criticism of their hypocrisy with ‘well that’s just whataboutism!’

Easy: There is zero alternative to the harm reduction.

I still don’t understand how they’re branded as harm reduction when they deport more people and do jack shit to defend minorities. At the same time the also do the violent oppression of protestors, but because the media covers it differently, it never escalates.

One of my doctors and I were talking about this. He noticed women of color tend to just “get on with it” because this is the system that’s always been oppressing them. Nothing changed under Trump. White women, in contrast, seem more shaken up about it because the sexism they experience was something they could overlook due to white privilege. Trump has made them question this for the first time in their lives.

He has a lot of black women coworkers who don’t freak out every time Trump says something silly. His white coworkers on the other hand? Blowing up on Facebook or the group chat or wanting to call an emergency meeting or what have you.

You (probably) joke, but libs have been saying this entire time they want to be out to brunch; they do actually crave plausible deniability; if they don’t get to see the evil, they get to pretend it’s not happening or that it’s not as bad as all that

It’s the reason they despise ICE but respect the troops (who are unimaginably worse); if you don’t see the evil, you get to imagine it’s not all that bad

Look at their reactions to college protestors under Biden getting beat to fuck and their reaction under Trump. It’s all about having a pretty face on fascism.

        I am governor Gavin Newsom
My aura smiles and never frown
And soon, I will be president
Trump power will soon go away
I will be führer one day

Organic poison gas does sound like the dem thing to do

Deportations have gone up under every single president since at least Clinton and if you point that out to the average lib they get mad and spew out shit about “strategic voting”.
And theory does agree with them. As Sun Tzu wrote: “If you’ve been losing consistently for the last three decades for the love of god keep doing what you’re doing.”
